2nd Anniversary Shalina CAR

On the 27th of February 2010, Shalina Healthcare’s Operating Unit (OU) in the Central African Republic (CAR) celebrated its second successful year in CAR. In the morning the Health Minister, Mr. Andre Dorogo came to cut the cake.
Mr. Dorogo expressed his appreciation of Shalina’s work in CAR. He said many pharmaceutical companies came into CAR prior to Shalina, but none of them could provide quality products at affordable prices.

On this occasion, our pharmacist thanked the Minister of Public Health & Population and the Inspector of Laboratory for attending the celebration, and thanked them for gracing them with the cutting of the cake to mark the occasion.

Our pharmacist, Ms. Kirimat Suzan also said, “Shalina has been settled in Mumbai in India since 1988 with the factory of pharmaceutical products named Shalina Labs. We have more than 253 medicines in all forms, which covers all the problems of the tropical area. Shalina settled on 27th February 2008 in CAR. The aim of the company is to support CAR in the government’s efforts in providing medicines to a majority of the population as per the pharmaceutical policy.” She continued, “I think the people of CAR are the first in getting the benefits of Shalina Pharmacy because the company is providing good quality products at affordable prices and the results of the quality tests of Shalina Healthcare’s products prove that they are of good quality. The first year of Shalina was the first step and the second year is the second step to strengthen Shalina further in CAR”. Finally, she concluded, “I am convinced that the next coming years will be years of growth and maturity. Once more I want to thank you for your availability and I hope that as long as you (the dignitaries) will be directing the health department, the cooperation with Shalina Healthcare will be stronger. On behalf of the Shalina team, I would like to thank the Minister for providing us his valuable time on this occasion and for a friendly atmosphere for running the business.”
