Ibuprofen: Inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins in body tissues by inhibiting at least 2 cyclo-oxygenase (COX) isoenzymes, COX-1 and COX-2. May inhibit chemotaxis, alter lymphocyte activity, decrease proinflammatory cytokine activity, and inhibit neutrophil aggregation; these effects may contribute to anti-inflammatory activity. Paracetamol: Exhibits analgesic action by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation. It produces antipyresis by inhibiting the hypothalamic heat regulating centre. Its weak anti-inflammatory activity is related to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the CNS.

Dyspepsia, heart burn, GI bleeding, rash, asthmatic attacks, thrombocytopenia, drug induced ulcer, drowsiness, hepatic necrosis, renal papillary necrosis, vision disturbances & disorientation; rarely nausea & vomiting can occur.
